I'm without the net at home still but that doesn't stop me from getting stuff released or at least knowing about it... Gung Vol 3 ch 1 and Kusatta ch 6 are both released today. Gung is a joint with Miyuki Fansubs who edited it. Thanks to Angely4200 for translating and to myself for scanning it. (Thanks to rum for lending me her copies of the manga so I could scan it.) ^.^ Kusatta, which contains male homosexual content, is avaliable thanks to Beline for scanning it, Super-Deformed Washuu for giving me permission to use her translations, and rum for letting Beline know I finished it so she could share it in IRC for me. ^.^;; Also Gung should be avaliable #miyuki-fansubs@mirc-x.com and Kusatta should be in whatever channel Beline released it in. Both releases are avaliable in my yahoo group.

Finally a release!! I'm sorry for about how long this release took, my computer decided it didn't want to copy and paste text into photoshop... Of course it took me 3 days to figure out that that was the problem since it kept saying it was out of memory...

Hi... For everyone in my yahoo group I'm sorry about any difficulties you might have had while trying to download in there. *Beyond my control!* Yahoo Groups has a bandwidth limit, it was so busy in there that it took 6 hours for a post I made to come through and be posted. People are hosting some of the files for direct download there, you just need to find the e-mail they posted the addresses in.
Also I still need more translators Chinese and Japanese. My release rate is based almost completely on my translators. So... more translators = faster releases! Please if you can translate for me e-mail me at MeganCata1@yahoo.com.

WOW!! I spent almost all day working on my site! The information on the projects page has more information and is up to date. YEAH!! I succeeded in releasing something the day I got 500 people in my yahoo group!! I finished editing ch 50 of Hanakimi. It's avaliable on mircx #shoujomagic and #DGT channels and on yahoo groups.
Also some quick notes on ALL my projects:
-I'm not editing the chapters of Hanakimi that Youkosiren finished. I'll post ch 51 done by Youkosiren sometime later this week (on my yahoo group). I'm going to edit ch 52 since they didn't finish it, I should release it soon, I have the translations for it and just need to edit it.
-Boys' N Girl... it's going to be a while before I release anymore, since the translator for ch 3 is very very busy... I'm sorry about that... I'll talk to him later and see what we can do to speed up the process...
-OK Girl... I haven't released any of this yet but someone is close to translating the first half of the volumes for me. YEAH!! But, since the volumes has no apparent chapter breaks I'm going to have to divide it up myself...
-MARS GAIDEN I have the scans for some of this now and they are great!! But I still need a Japanese translator for this volume (the un-licensed prequel to MARS, which is licensed)
-My other 2 projects... The person who bought the volumes and was going to scan them for me decided she was to old for this... She's mailing me the volumes and I have to scan them myself... so it will be a while before either of them will be released. I still need Japanese translators for these 2 one volumes mangas.
I guess it wasn't really quick...

I'm so exited, so much is happening!!
I finished ch 2 of Boys' N Girl and it is up on IRC, Yahoo Groups and for direct download. (Now avaliable for on-line reading too.) I finished it as fast as I could since I know everyone really wanted it, including me. I have three translators right now for Boys' N Girl so it should hopefully start going faster...
Also, my totally amazing wonderful host for direct downloads has also uploaded ch 104 of Hanakimi so it can be downloaded. However there is a limited amount of space the host can share... so, vol 15 and maybe 16 will be taken down in a week or so.
Also I'm going to have 3 more new manga projects. Information can be found under projects. I need Japanese translators for them. So please!! If you can translate Japanese for me please contact me at MeganCata1@yahoo.com !!

Yeah!! My finals are finally over!! Back to editing. Today I have for you ch 2 of 17 Guyz. A reminder: 17 Guyz is a yaoi manga <-it contains explict male homosexual content. It can be found on my yahoo group and on the 2 IRC channels I go to.
For the several people who may be curious about my other projects:
-I have ch 49 of Hanakimi and am almost done editing it, so it'll be released soon.
-Ch 58 of Hanakimi is busy being translated.
-Chapters 2-4 of Boys' N Girl are being translated for me, all by different people, I should hopefully have ch 2 soon to work on.
-17 Guyz (yaoi) and OK Girl (shoujo) (which has no releases so far) are both being worked on by a very diligent translator.

Cool!! So many people helping me, it's great! My new release 17 Guyz chapter 1 this manga is yaoi (contains male homosexual content) and I'm sharing it on the yahoo group and on IRC. The translator, Itsuki, thinks the plot is a little blah but other than that it's pretty good.
Itsuki has also offered to translate the 2 other yaoi manga's I have that are in Chinese and OK Girl which is a Shoujo manga!! She rocks!!
Also, someone said they would scan and translate the first volume of "Doll" for me by Fuyumi Soryo, the author of "Mars", from Polish. I've been wanting to read it since someone else told me about it.
I'm also thinking about buying shoujo manga to scan myself...

Hi!! I finally finished ch 44 of Hanakimi. It's already on IRC, the yahoo group and on the downloads page for direct download!
I don't have any other chapters to edit right now and my finals are next week so it will be awhile before I make any more releases.
Thanks to braway my layout has been improved and is more host friendly, so now everyone can appreciate it closer to the way Ayasi meant it to be. ^^

Nothing really new. I'm working on Hanakimi ch 44. I'm taking a short break right now. Someone somewhere has started editing vol 20 of Hanakimi. I don't know who yet. I'm supposed to have the translations for ch 2 of Boys' N Girl in a couple of days. I'm forcing the person who is translating ch 3 for me to actually work, he's been procrastinating...
OH!! I almost forgot to mention this! Someone has offered to make me a cool layout for this site! I'm afraid I'm not really trying to make it better. As long as it is navigatable I wasn't going to mess with it. Still, I would like my site to look better so I accepted the offer.

Hi, it's 2am where I am and I can't sleep, so I decided to let everyone know how everything is. My translator for vol 11 is very very busy, she works very hard and has a life outside of translating, she told me that she won't be able to really translate until at least May. Someone said they would translate ch 56 the first chapter of Vol 11 for me, but I have no idea how to contact him/her... Also someone has offered to scan vol 20 of Hanakimi for me, it's in Japanese so I might need someone to translate it for me in month or so depending... Also on a more cheery note, I should have ch 2 of Boys' N Girl translations soon and ch 3 too. It looks like I get to start making up names soon, the stress from making up names is going to get to me though ^^;

I'm very happy though!! Over 2000 hits and almost 150 people in my group!!!
I'm so happy with all the feed back I've gotten about Boys' N Girl and can hardly wait to do more of it.

A quick update before I go to school. Someone has offered to host all my releases and they are avaliable in the download section.
I want to thank everyone who has been offering to help me! I actually only need more translators though. I do almost all the editing myself except for ch 57 of Hanakimi and I'm fine with it. As long as I'm not busy with school I can edit stuff. I actually only have one thing to work on right now and I'm taking my sweet time because it's ch 38 with DGT and they haven't given me any corrections to make on ch 37 yet. If I ever need help editing you'll see me here asking for help.

I'm so happy!! I've finished editing my first non-hanakimi chapter!! Chapter 1 of Boys' N Girl! You can read it on-line at my other site here. I am of course sharing it at ShoujoManga's IRC channel and DGT's IRC channel. I would like everyone who has never used IRC to know that DGT's site has some really good instructions on how to connect to them.
OK! One person has spoken so mote it be! I'll be changing the zips every week instead of twice a week because at least one person had trouble with the group bandwidth. So this coming weekend will see me upload some of the older Hanakimi chapter's I've released and Boys' N Girl chapter 1 in zip form!
Amazing!! Less than half an hour and the other site is already down!!
Someone has agreed to host it for direct download for awhile here! The amazing host says it would have to be a lot of downloading before she'd have to delete it. Still if you feel you can wait until my other site is back up or for me to put it on yahoo groups please do. ^^

I'm happy!! I found out more about Boys' N Girl the manga I want to edit but don't have a translator for (hint hint)! Thank you Mirana for giving me the link to the Italian site that has info about it!
Boys' N Girl is about a girl, Aria Hoshina (in italian anyway), whose widower father got a job being the supervisor for the male dorm of the prestigious school, Saiko Gakuen. So he and his family move into the dorm. Aria soon discovers that ALL 222 boys in the dorm are delinquents.^^

I think it just means it's not actually licensed but something else?

My friend Stephanie said she would try translating the yaoi manga's I have (they're in Japanese) it will just take her a while. Steph is really busy all the time. Still I'm happy that that means I won't have to stop editing when I run out of Hanakimi to edit.
But I don't want to become a yaoi site, and if you would like me to continue with non-yaoi files, like Hanakimi, (PLEASE PLEASE!!) if you can read chinese please offer to translate my other projects! I have good news, bad news and depending on your point of view news!!
First the good news:
As you might know I'm going to continue with Hanakimi until someone in the U.S. announces that they have licensed it. I'm almost done with chapter 37 which I'm doing with DGT and about 1/3 of the way through chapter 43, the first chapter of volume 9!! Oh, happy days! ... Both of them should be released by the end of the week and then I'll start chapters 38 and 57 of Hanakimi. I'm just bouncing around aren't I. ^^
Now for the bad news:
I still don't have any translators for the two other projects I want to do : "Dragon Voice" and "Boys' N Girl". They're both in Chinese and I know one of my translators doesn't want to do either and that the other one hasn't decided if she want to do "Boys' N Girl" yet. Please if you can read Chinese and are willing to translate them for me please e-mail me at MeganCata1@yahoo.com.
Some quick notes about these manga's:
Dragon Voice is not a Shoujo Manga, it is a comedy about a bishonen who can dance and wants to join a boy band, he just can't sing.
Boys' N Girl is a Shoujo Manga about a girl who is placed in the boys dorm instead of the girls dorm. There are a lot of bishonen in this!! The art is very good.
And for the depends on your point of view news:
I have talked to someone on IRC who can decide if I can edit for Hush, but somehow the subject of if I will never came up...

Hi all, after a lot of searching on-line I've found some raw mangas!
My translators are going to try to look up info about the one shoujo manga I found, "Boys N Girl". According to Zee, one of my translators, it appears to be about a girl who was placed in a boys dormintory instead of a girls when her father enrolled her for school.
I do need more translators because I have other raw manga's and my translators only want to translate Shoujo mangas....
I have mostly yaoi mangas (unbelievable amount of them) and one more non-yaoi one! This one is called "Dragon Voice" it is about a boy who is an incrediable dancer, he wants to join one of the top boy bands and make a lot of money... One problem he can't sing at all!! Apparently his voice is so bad it makes babies cry.
I have applied to Hush to be an editor there but I don't want to quit this here either.
Also I've decided since no one has been able to find information on-line about Hanakimi being licensed, including where it was suppose to be posted on the official Japanese website for Hanakimi, that I will continue to edit Hanakimi until someone in the United States says they've licensed it.

I already updated today but I wanted to add some information.
I've talked to several people and none of them can find the information about Hanakimi being licensed, so there is a chance that it isn't true. YEAH!
I sent the translations for ch 43 and 57 to a friend who is going to edit them for me (he lives in Germany so it isn't illegal in the event it is licensed in the United States!). I'll continue working on the ones I'm doing with DGT until I'm told if it is licensed for sure.
However before I discovered this I went looking for another manga to edit and found two possibilities (at least so far) I'm going to keep looking. One of my translators (only have 2) has looked at them and has informed me that one of them is in Japanese and couldn't translate even if she wanted to (this manga is yaoi=contains male homosexual context) and that she wasn't interested in the other one either (this manga is a comedy) to quote, "they seem like guy mangas" (Not quite sure how a yaoi manga, no matter if there are fights in it, is a guy manga ^^;).
But I'm on a quest for varity (doing just one comic gets boring), so if you can read Chinese please contact me at MeganCata1@yahoo.com. Or if you're willing to try translating a yaoi manga contact me if you can read Japanese.
Also, someone suggested that if I want to edit more I should try editing for another group...So I'm thinking about that too

Hello everyone!
I've removed the old files shared on yahoo groups and replaced them with ch 85, 87-90 of Hanakimi. Ch 86 should be avaliable at http://fullblossoms.cjb.net. Also Hanakimi is supposedly licensed, no one seems to know by whom, so until the people who licensed it come forward I'll continue to share my files but not to edit it...
If anyone has any ideas about other manga's I could edit and either have scans or know where I can get them please tell me.

So until I find out for sure no more editing/releases... Unless someone has another manga they would like me to edit? (Assuming I can get the scans and translations for it....)

Eiko has finished tranlating Ch 57 of Vol 11 for me (yes Youko Siren did it before but they didn't finish it). Also Zee (she's really fast!) my other translator has almost finished translating ch 43, the first chapter of vol 9 for me. ^^
I'm so happy! I promise everyone I'm going to spend almost all day saturday in my room editing!!
PHEW! I have so much to do! Four chapters to edit! And if I really spend all day doing it I might finish a couple of chapters. So expect a release in a couple of days.

Also, I'm not going to be able to edit anything until Saturday. I feel really bad about this, but I have: two tests, a math homework to finish, and SIX chapters of Computer Organiztion Homework to do by Friday. :(
Hopefully next week I'll have plently of time to edit. ^^

Hi again. I've finished talking with Eiko (the one and ONLY person who has said they would translate for me!! hint hint) and we're gonna start editing Vol 11 soon.
Also I've been trying to improve my editing skills and have been experimenting in photoshop. (Also why I haven't finished ch 37 yet) And I want to share some Hanakimi wallpapers I've made.

April 4, 2003:
DGT re-released chapter 35 yesterday!
I've got the scans and translations for ch 37 of Hanakimi from DGT and I'll start editing them soon. I'm also trying to clean the scans of ch 41 for Eden, who knows if they'll use them since Eden is a perfectionist. I'm not as good at cleaning as Eden is. ^^

I've decided to show everyone the difference between my cleaned scans and Eden's:

There is a big difference especially since that was just a sample sent to me by Eden that wasn't even up to their standards...
And to save my dignity I would like to point out that I've only been using photoshop for a couple of weeks...

DGT re-released ch 34 yesterday and also released our long awaited Ch 36. ^^ Ch35 will be re-released when DGT finishes correcting it.

Yesterday DGT and myself released Ch34-35. Apparently I owe everyone an apology, it seems I'm not good at proof-reading when it involves myself, so there were spelling and grammer errors in those releases. I thought I had caught most of the errors, just not all I guess...
